Yoke S Ranch hunts are located in the heart of spectacular
Southern Iowa Whitetail deer hunting country - specifically Lucas and
Wayne counties, near the towns of Russell and Promise City.
We have approximately 900 acres of prime deer hunting ground.
All of the land is part of operating farm and ranch land. Therefore,
we have good distribution of corn, beans, crp, open pasture, wooded
draws, clover, alfalfa and timber. Just about any type habitat that
a person likes to hunt can be found here.
Nice bucks have been killed here in the past, and we see nice deer nearly
every day.
We don't want to over utilize the area so we have divided it up into
a few generously sized hunting areas so that the clients can pick the
area and type of habitat that they want to hunt and be assured that
there won't be any interference from other hunters.
We will provide aerial photographs of the area and tours to describe
the boundaries and habitat locations. The client will have access to
the property to scout around any time prior to opening day.
Hunters can ask any questions they want about the area or the wildlife.
That is one of the advantages of hunting an operating ranch - we are
here every day all year long. We know what is going on with wildlife.
